holy shit this year i am going to be graduating. im growing up so fast. i visted humboldt university state while i was up here and ive fallen in love with arcata. there are no chain stores or restauants. no mickey d's or walmarts THANK GOD! all privately owned small stores. very cute. there are bums and drugs and rain and gorgeous trees. 30% of the student population is vegan and this county has the highest activism for it here. their largest dept. is biology and second is art. so im going to major in biology and photography. YA! man its going to be hard moving away from ya everything. but ill come back to vist as often as possible even though you guys wont remember me. hehe happy new years! im going to go put my pjs on and lie in bed till my lover calls. okay ya now!

1. i was born with johndis (sp?) and had to stay under lights because my flesh was orange.
2. in forces of nature sandra bullocks name was sarah luis.
3. when i was a little girl i thought i was a lesbian.
4. but i had a HUGE crush on j.t.t.
5. my mother moved me and my sister to san fran after she divorced my biological father and we rented a room from a family that was originally from india.
6. and that is why i love indian culture.
7. my name was originally supposed to be isabella maria, named after my bio dad's grandmother and mother. but because he wasn't at the hospital with my mother to sign my birth certificate she named me sarah beth.
8. my favorite t.v. show when i was young was cheers and the golden girls ohh and unsolved mysteries.

10. my first concert was fleet wood mac when i was eleven. my real dad had brought me a ticket to go with him and his new gf (who is now his wife) and i was mad because i didnt want to go so i "accidently" dumped my shirly temple in her lap. hehe.

12. i've had plastic surgery on my lips when i was really young.
13. i have always loved thrift stores.
14. i started shaving my legs in the fourth grade.

susan finished school at 16 wants to be a secretary 2 years later she's got nowhere ends up in a factory making matches it's so boring she gets sad and so depressed hears her doctor smugly tell her "take these pills and get some rest" but she takes it one step further parents rescue her in time smile and tell her "when you're married everything will be just fine" she recovers and gets married further shuts the closing door though he says "i really love you" she feels worse off than before 9 months later she's a mother it's a bouncing baby boy "oh how super!" say her parents but for her there is no joy words like mummy don't mean nothing it's all she hears from 9 to 5 all alone at number 19 every single day she dies 19 years of hollow clichés now she wants to end it all bored to death from doing nothing family drives her up the wall swinging susan hanged herself she couldn't live her pointless life he comes home to see through tears the rigid corpse that was his wife the life and times of susan strange ended in that tragic way with the money from insurance the family went on holiday nothing left but rotting flowers on an unattended grave the epitaph has faded badly no-one reads it anyway

Dear Tony,

I tried calling you tonight to wish you a happy birthday. I worked up the guts to call wanting to put things out of mind for a moment and pretend that you would be happy to hear from me. I feel it was fate your phone line was busy. I know that Amy and I left physically when I was five and she was two, but it was you that left emotionally,

I remeber riding in your truck visting the various different houses we livd in when we were family. Trying to surface pity from my young naiive heart that my mom left you. Never realizing that I was still with you. What happened between you and my mom happened between you and my mom. But even so the abuse bleed through to my molding mind, manipulating my emotions to understand that love and hate were of one element. I struggle everyday trying to recondition myself of this, but its hard when you have no trust in anyone.

How does it feel to help take of Jeff's little girls? To feed them and watch cartoons with them feeling proud that you are a benefactor in their happy childhoods. When your heart beat races when you run to their cries, does it remind you of Amy and I? When they sleep in our old room at night and you tuck them in and give them a kiss do you ever wish you could kiss our foreheads good-night? Or am I being to wishful?

I have so much more to say, but nothing can compensate for the tears I've shed and the painful neglect you have bestowed upon me unconditionally.

And for some reason I don't have the heart to bring a gun to your head to impact your mind the way you have mine. Even though it is much deserved.

So have a happy birthday. A year closer to your final doomed fate.
